Pugwash Open Hamper Food Bank / Community Garden

Food bank: Provides emergency food support to those in need. Normally provides 3 to 5 days of food. Accepts food donations. * Clients can access the food bank twice a month * Based on information contained in the FEED NOVA SCOTIA membership database and Client Registry History.

Community garden: In support of our local Open Hamper Food Bank we plant a vegetable garden in the vacant lot behind O’Brien’s Pharmacy in Pugwash to provide fresh, in season produce to the food bank. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to help, feel free to send us a message.
